Have you heard of a young famous singer named Shawn Mendes? He is a huge deal in the music industry. Well I’m going to be talking about my experience at one of his concerts.
I have been a fan of Shawn Mendes ever since I was a freshman in high school and to this day I am still a fan of his. My friend is also a fan of Shawn. Ever since he became a famous singer in the music industry, we have always wanted to see him in concert. I know all of Shawn’s songs from his first album to his third album, as well as his recently released songs. We always dreamed of possibly meeting him but we know that will never happen in the future.
Shawn is like an idol to me. He says, “If you have a dream goal you want to achieve, I suggest you go for it no matter what obstacles comes in your way. Don’t let people tell you that you can’t achieve your dream goal.” My friend and I had been planning to go to his concert for months. At first, we weren’t sure if he was going to have a concert in Connecticut since he had started his tour in the beginning of the year. However, towards the end of February and beginning of March of this year, Shawn had added a lot more places to his tour. I had noticed that he added Connecticut to the list. I told my mom and my best friend about it and we planned to go see him in the end of August. We wanted to meet him in person too, but we know that those types of tickets cost a lot of money.
The concert was at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The arena was pretty big and full of Shawn Mendes fans. There are some sections that are handicap accessible, but it depends on where they are in the arena. The spots for handicap accessible seating are usually in the upper middle sections of the arena. These types of seating also depend on where they are in the tickets you have purchased. Mohegan Sun Arena is very accessible for wheelchairs. If you want to be near the stage, you will have to be in the orchestra section and call the box office to see if there are any handicap spots available there. There is a limitation on seating because a lot of people will definitely want to go to the same concert or comedy show you are going to. There’s always a lot of great shows at the arena. Once you know that your favorite singer or comedian is going to be in your state or country, I recommend you get your tickets as soon as possible before they sold out.
