Holiday Shopping at iLevel®

Well, it is the holidays once again. I know that everyone is going store to store to get their holiday shopping done. So, let’s talk about my holiday shopping experience at iLevel®.

Now I don’t normally go holiday shopping, but the past three years I have gone. I have a friend who has been my friend since high school and every year she gets me something for Christmas. I feel like I have to give her something as well. My friend is not the only one who gives me gifts for Christmas. My family members give me gifts as well. When I was in elementary school, my teachers would have my classmates and I make our family members Christmas gifts.

Last year, I had some help from my mom and her friend.  I asked my mom what I should get my younger brother and my stepdad for Christmas. My mom said that I should get each of them a gift card for somewhere they like. So, I went to Kohl’s with my mom’s friend in my iLevel® Power Wheelchair. I thought browsing at Kohl’s would give me an idea of what I can get my mom. With the seat elevation on my wheelchair, it was easy to see things on the top racks at the store as I browsed. My mom’s friend suggested getting my mom jewelry and I thought that was a perfect idea. Although, we had to do some searching online to see what type of jewelry would work. Looking back, I have to say that it is difficult to find the perfect gift for your family members or friends.

My mom’s friend and I kept searching for the perfect type of jewelry in almost every store on the internet. Just two weeks before Christmas, I found the perfect thing! It was a bracelet that had two carvings on it. In the front of the bracelet, it said “Best Mom Ever.” In the back of the bracelet, it said, “Love You, From Your Beautiful Daughter.” I thought that it was the perfect gift because my mom actually is the best mom ever. I love her with all my heart. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be here right now. Also, I wouldn’t be able to succeed in where I want to be.

This year is going to be another year of holiday shopping. because I have to go get gifts for my mom, my younger brother, my stepdad, my friend from high school and my aunt. Hopefully I will be able to get gifts for all five of them. I have an idea of what I’m going to get my younger brother, but I have no clue what to get the others. Wish me luck!
