I love using my iLevel power wheelchair. It makes me feel so independent and free. It also helps me with things that I can’t do on my own. I feel honored to have this type of power wheelchair because it gives me the freedom and opportunity to be able to do things that I couldn’t do before when I had my previous power wheelchair.
Every six months to a year, I get a medical checkup and have to go to many medical appointments. Before I got an iLevel wheelchair, I always had to depend on my parents to help me with positioning myself for an examination. It was hard for me to not be able to do anything medical related. Ever since I got an iLevel wheelchair, things have gotten a lot better and easier for me.
Not only I can move around on my own, but I can also go up high or down low depending on where the machines are positioned. ilevel technology has allowed me to elevate and talk to my doctors at eye level. I know that a lot of people say that they don’t like to go to their medical appointments. To be honest, I actually don’t mind going to the doctor. They don’t really bother me. I mean I don’t like getting my flu shot every year, but I have to suck it up and get it.
The doctors are always glad to see me. Every time I go to these appointments, they always tell me stories of when I was little. The receptionists, doctors and nurses can’t believe that I have grown up into a beautiful young lady.
When I first went into the office with my iLevel wheelchair, they were astonished by it. I remember them asking me a lot of questions about the wheelchair. They told me that they had never seen a wheelchair like mine before. I was the first person to go in the office with an iLevel wheelchair.
When I go to the eye doctor, It feels so much better and easier to browse through shelves and pick out new glasses for myself. I can go up to the little mirrors that are on the shelves and see how the glasses look on me. Whenever I do my eye exams, I use my iLevel power wheelchair to position myself to the machines and the mirror in front of me.
