My New Service Dog

On Monday, April 13, I became a fur mama to an eight-and-a-half-week old golden retriever, named Beans! I have to say, he is so adorable. Not to brag or anything, but I think he is the cutest puppy I have ever seen!

He loves his Mickey Mouse blanket, his blue elephant and his green frog ring toys. He loves to snuggle with his mom and spend time with his god mama, Alana! He is learning to go on walks next to me in my Quantum® Power Chair with iLevel®. But for right now, he is content to snuggle on my lap in my wheelchair.

My iLevel Power Wheelchair makes it easier to reach the dog treats that are in the cupboard, thanks to my chair’s ability to raise up! I can easily elevate 12 inches to reach the treats and anything else I need!

My goal is to have Beans trained as a service dog, so he can help me with tasks at home and in the classroom.
