Do you ever stop to think about where you are currently and where you will be in five years? We’re currently in the middle of a pandemic, so the world has completely shifted. Things are so different from what we used to know. I wonder myself as time goes by. It’s been a year already since the beginning of this pandemic and I wonder about other people’s jobs or my job and how it affects everyone else’s lives. It is very hard to think about the future with so much of life being an unknown right now. I try to think about the weeks ahead rather than months. Each day changes so dramatically.

After things get better and we finally see light at the end of the tunnel, I see myself doing some of the same activities I do now. I’ve been painting my life away and I hopefully master a craft that really, can never be mastered. Painting itself is always evolving. I hope that within the next five years, my painting comes out better, stronger and people know my art simply by looking at it.
Within the next five years, I hope that this pandemic is over and there is greater unity within the community. I hope that we are all closer because of what we experienced with the pandemic. I want nothing but the best for us all. At this point, we can only become stronger.
Remember, always find that silver lining and keep your head up. It can only get better.
