With everything that has happened over the past two years, I am especially thankful. It’s a crazy thing that this COVID-19 pandemic is still going on, although it’s not as bad as it was. So, I am thankful for a lot this year. At the beginning of 2021, things were already shaky for everybody. As time went on, things started falling apart so I was coming from a dark place. But through the struggle, there was somewhat of a light at the end of the tunnel and we’re working our way through it.
First, I am thankful for all the people that have been helping me in in this crazy situation that I’ve been going through. I want to thank their families for letting their loved ones come out of their way to help me. If it wasn’t for them, I would not be able to do what I’m doing today. I am also thankful for all my doctors. If it wasn’t for all my doctors, I would not be able to excel at life.
I want to thank my friends who are truly in my lane. If it wasn’t for you guys, I wouldn’t have made it through this crazy year. Much love to all of you.
I am grateful for Quantum and their innovations. With my power wheelchair and iLevel®, I can complete my daily living tasks, paint and enjoy life. iLevel has changed the whole game and it makes you feel included in the world. You are part of the conversation and not looked down on. I’m thankful for meeting all the people that I met through the Abilities Expos over the years. Hopefully one day, we’ll be able to meet again soon.
I am thankful for a new team and that I have positivity back in my house. It feels good. For those of you out there who are still feeling the blues, I’m with you. Remember to find your silver lining. Stay humble and thankful for the things you have. You never know what tomorrow brings.
