Fun Summer Activities with iLevel Technology

It’s the unofficial start of summer! It’s time to do fun things outdoors, like hanging out with friends, having a BBQ, and more. With my Edge® 3 Power Wheelchair with iLevel® technology, I can get outside and have a good time!

Working Out and Meditating in the Park

I like to work out at the park, as much as my body allows. With COVID-19, I’ve had to stay indoors a lot, so it’s nice to be able to work out in the park and meditate. It’s always nice to become grounded to Earth and feel the universe as one as again. We all get tired of being stuck inside. Hopefully the nice weather holds out and we will have an extended summer that is not too crazy hot. Summertime in St. Louis gets really humid.

Patio Hopping

Another thing I like to do when the weather is nice is patio hopping. There are so many restaurants and bars with patios in St Louis and you can go out and not need a coat or a sweater. Although this time of year, the temperature can fluctuate. It gets super warm and then the temperature drops like it would in a desert at night; A little cool if you know what I mean. Some of us that have different disabilities require different temperatures for our bodies.

Attending BBQs and Art Shows

I’m also looking forward to going to some BBQs this year and visiting with a whole bunch of people I haven’t seen in years due to the pandemic. I hope that we all thrive off this summer and connect more with our family and friends as summer approaches. We need to be able to do the things we couldn’t do for the past two or three years.

I’m also looking forward to checking out a whole bunch of outdoor art shows. I appreciate other people’s art in different forms, as people’s minds are unique. It’s so cool. People show off all their amazing talents as we enjoy the beautiful weather.

I hope everyone has an awesome summer!
