One of my biggest resolutions for the new year is working out more. I think a lot of times we forget about fitness and how much it makes a difference in our emotions and our mental health, as well as our physical health. I plan to get back to working out using bands. As I get older, it’s harder to get rid of excess fat.

Another resolution that I think we all need to consider committing to is saying “hi” to each other in person instead of always being on our phones. We are a body of people and as humans, we tend to neglect each other, because we’re focused on our phones. So, consider making it your new year’s resolution to appreciate other humans and put down the technology.
Another resolution for me is that I want to do more collaborations with non-disabled people or people with different situations from me. We should have more conversations because a lot of people don’t talk about it. Instead, we can have a conversation through art and what we create together is amazing.
Another resolution of mine is that I hope to have both a physical art show and selling more art online as well for a lower cost. For me, doing my art is not about money, but it’s about making my art available for everyone to enjoy and the people who follow me.
What are your resolutions for the new year?
