My Mission to Help Disabled Outdoors Utah

I work with a non-profit organization called “Do Utah,” which stands for Disabled Outdoors Utah. I have been on their volunteer board over the last year and have met some of the most amazing people. The mission of Do Utah is to take people with all kinds of disabilities to experience outdoors and deliver an unforgettable experience. Last year, we took 22 kids hunting for their first time. We’ve also taken kids camping and fishing. We had a huge youth shed hunt and we gave out prizes to entice kids to participate in future adventures.

I love being outdoors, so it’s amazing to help others experience outdoor activities as well. In the future, I will represent them at the hunting expo in Salt Lake City. I look forward to showing the public what the organization has accomplished and what it can continue to accomplish with their support. I am thrilled to help in raising money so we can continue to take people all over our state on different adventures! Volunteering for this event will bring me in contact with so many people and allow me to network. I am very excited to spread the mission of Do Utah through representation. It is so important to get outside and enjoy what this world has and the beauty if offers.
