Roasting Pumpkin Seeds for Fall

It’s getting colder out and fall is here. It’s time for apple picking, hot apple cider, going to pumpkin patches and getting ready for Halloween. It’s all good stuff but for me I’m excited to make toasted pumpkin seeds.

Last year, I went through like 14 pumpkins for seeds. I’m kind of a nut, LOL. Toasted pumpkin seeds are easy to do yet tough at the same time. It’s all about taking your time and putting some love in there. It requires attention to detail. The more you pay attention to what you’re doing, the better they turn out.

I have to be honest: the first two batches I’ve made this year didn’t turn out great. I think I got complacent. That’s why I say a little love and attention to detail is what it takes! Give it a try. If it’s  not great, try again. You just never know until you create something. You certainly don’t want to go without like me. Enjoy and happy fall!
